Immunizations aren’t on anyone’s list of fun things to do – but they are probably the single most important thing parents can do to protect their children against disease.

It’s important to keep a record of your child’s immunizations, as you’ll need them for admission to school. Download a handy immunization record (PDF) that you can keep at home.
Parents must also decide if they want their tweenage daughters to receive the HPV vaccine, which can provide protection against human papillomavirus, or HPV, a very common sexually transmitted disease that is linked to cervical cancer and genital warts.
